Welcome to the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum (fast facts), begun in the 1970s by a small group of people who wanted to create a network of arboretums in Nebraska where plants could be grown and displayed "to enrich lives through the beauty and wonder of plants."
What resulted was the founding of an arboretum unlike any in the world, a remarkable network of arboreta, parks, historic properties and other public landscapes accessible and relevant to citizens across Nebraska.
For more than 3 decades, NSA has provided plant and landscape information and publications, worked to promote rare trees and plants and underutilized native plants, and inspired gardeners all across the Great Plains.
